Practicing attorney-mediator in the New York City area with offices in Manhattan and Riverdale. Having worked in a general law firm, specializing in divorce and family law, I bring to my mediation practice the experience and familiarity with the law and its alternative processes for resolving disputes. My practice of mediation is based on the principles of facilitating parties to work out their own agreements, according to their own values, priorities and schedules. By providing an informal and collaborative environment, I encourage parties to express their own concerns and interests while being receptive to the concerns and interests of the other.

In addition to my private practice, I am an experienced trainer, having trained attorneys, court personnel, law students and corporate staff throughout the New York City area. I am an Adjunct Professor at Cardozo Law School where I teach divorce and general mediation theory and skill in addition to having taught family law at the law school.

I serve on the ADR committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. I am a Practitioner Member of the Academy of Family Mediators, an Accredited Member of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation, the co-chair of the professional education committee of the Family and Divorce Mediation Council of New York as well as of the Center for Mediation in Law.
