Version 5.06 released May 19, 2003
Release Notes for Version 5.06
In this release, we made the following enhancements:
Professional and Personal Editions:
Spreadsheet Style Reports. Added "Spreadsheet style" summary reports that put all the data for net income on one (scrolling) screen, and all the date for net worth on another.
Improved defaults of filing status in first year. Now, for example, if the first-entered spouse indicates he or she will file as single, and the other spouse qualifies for head of household, we automatically select head of household.
Navigation to Reports and Print. Now the report and print screens are combined on a single screen. Click the title of any report to view the report. "X" the box next to it and click the "Print" link to print it.
Navigation to Graphs. Key graphs have been collected in one chapter, entitled "Graphs."
Professional Editions:
What-If. New 4-column What-If allows you to enter up to four scenarios. All key data items for the current base case are present. See the results of each scenario for net income and net worth graphed by clicking on the graphs at the bottom of the page. View and print a report explaining the differences among the scenarios. View and print a report showing key income and net worth numbers for each scenario at five-year intervals.
Multi-Item Chapters. Improved the top page of multi-item chapters (Children, Investments, Schools, etc.), so each item is displayed on the top page, along with key information about that item. To edit an item, simply click on it. Key information may be edited right on the top page.
Notes. Now you may enter notes and comment on a particular line by clicking the "Notes" button at the bottom of the screen. The Professionals' Notes may be modified and printed.
Personal Editions:
Key Items. View and change all the key items from your file on one screen. Click a graph icon next to the item to see the impact on either that item (projected 30 years forward) or on the bottom line.
