Release Notes for Version 9.04, released
April 16, 2007 In this release we have added the Florida
Affidavit. Additional enhancements include data entry field colors,
expense screen colors, and support for multiple users on one computer.
In General
Data Entry Field colors. Now, all fields for your data entry are
colored yellow, and all fields that the program calculates are colored
blue. You may still override any program-calculated (blue) fields.
Expense Screen colors. Now, the wife/mothers expense screen will
be shown in a pink background color, and the husband/fathers will be
shown in a blue color. This is a further attempt to prevent confusion
about whose expenses you are entering.
Poverty Guideline Updated. Several states child support
guidelines have lower-income exceptions that are based on the federal
poverty guideline. These guidelines have been updated by the federal
government, and we updated ours.
Multiple Users on a Single Computer. For administrative personnel
who may be using the software on multiple computers, we have now added
the ability to enter multiple KeyCodes on the same computer. You may
easily switch between users, so the footers on the printed reports will
be correct. This functionality is located on the Home > Enter KeyCode
tab.
Connecticut
Child support calculation. The calculation for line 21 now uses
the first value from line 34 rather than the second. This allows you to
override the basic support amount and have that amount used for the
calculation of the Net Disposable Income, Unreimbursed Medical Expense,
and Child Care Contribution.
Tax Exemption on Quick Calculator. We have added a column to
specify who claims the tax exemption for each child on the quick
guideline calculator.
New Jersey
Tax Tables. We updated the child support tax tables for 2007.
Tax Exemption on Quick Calculator. We have added a column to
specify who claims the tax exemption for each child on the quick
guideline calculator.
Nevada
Child Support. We have updated the child support table for 2006
and coded the new table, which will be effective on July 1, 2007.
New York
Occupation. We added a second line for Occupation on the Net
Worth Statement.
Client Certification and Attorney Certification. We added a link
to allow you to customized the attorney certification and client
certification on the Net Worth statement. You have to do this just once
on each computer on which the software is installed.
Tax Exemption on Quick Calculator. We have added a column to
specify who claims the tax exemption for each child on the quick
guideline calculator.
Rhode Island
Quick Child Support Calculator. We introduced a calculator for
quick child support.
Child Care Credit. The calculation of the child care credit is
now automatic.
