Your Estimate of State Tax Enter your estimate of the state and local income tax each party will pay, per year. Note that we are not asking for total withholding, but rather, the "tax due" line on your state income return, plus the tax due on your city income tax return if you file one. We will use your estimate in our tax and income calculations if you have selected the option above indicating that you wish to use your estimate of state and local income taxes. Otherwise, we will use our general estimate of state taxes for your state.
