Florida Law - Is There a Minimum Waiting Period After Filing?
Florida law does not require a minimum waiting period between the filing
for divorce and the granting of a divorce.
However, a judge may postpone the granting of a divorce by up to three months, in order
to give the parties an opportunity to seek a reconciliation.
Section 61.052(2)(b)(2).
