Time To Spend
A parent transmits values, ethics, and a sense of self to a child in the course of
everyday life.
And so it is important to judges that a custodial parent have significant
time to spend with a child.
This consideration tends to work in favor of the parent who actually works
25 to 40 hours a week over the parent who works 50 to 80 hours a week.
Occasionally, and in a way unfairly, this consideration works in favor of the wealthier parent, who
plans to spend more time with the children, over the poorer parent, who can not
afford to spend time with the child and must work just to afford the rent.
