Empty Your Safe Deposit Box
Some divorce strategists recommend that you visit your safe deposit
box and hide the contents, or transfer the contents
to a secret box to which only you have the key.
You might do this if you inform your spouse of what you are doing, and
if you are doing it because you fear that the contents will disappear.
You might leave the key with your lawyer.
Otherwise, this is not a strategy we recommend.
