Get clothes you will need for work
While you still have access to your husband's credit card, buy yourself a wardrobe
you need for work.
If you are planning on starting work, buy clothes you think you will need for the job
you plan to get.
While you're at it, you might want to buy as many clothes for the kids as you can manage.
We do not recommend this strategy in general, but we can imagine situations where it is a
reasonable thing to do. This would be a situation where your husband is overpowering
you personally and legally, and you have no ordinary recourse.
