Inventory the stamp and coin collections
A common husband's trick is to dump the stamp and coin collection at
less than its value to a friend. The husband then buys it back
when the divorce is over.
If you have a complete list of every item in the collection, you can
have an appraiser estimate the value and catch your husband in the act.
Not only will you get compensated for half (or thereabouts) of the
proper value, but you instantly make other claims of your husband's
treachery more credible.
Judges do not take kindly to spouses who hide assets.
