Be aware of the status of your tax refund
If you have not yet received your tax refund for the year, check your most recent
tax return.
The amount of the tax refund you have coming is listed near the bottom of Form
1040, with text like "Amount of line 61 you want refunded to you."
Sometimes, the tax refund is a significant financial asset. Sometimes, women defer
leaving their husbands until the refund comes. When the refund comes cashed, they take
half the cash and leave.
