People Who Finish High School or College Are Less Likely To Divorce
People who finish high school or college are less likely to divorce
than people who drop out.
Interestingly, women who finish high school (but have no college)
are less likely to divorce than women who have some college but drop
out.
The following charts give divorce rates for women, divided by age
and educational level. (The actual census asked about number of
years of school, 12, 16, and so on. We have assumed that this means
"high school," "college," and so on.)
As in other charts, we see an overall jump in divorce rates after
the women who were born in 1940.
