Telling Others About the Divorce
You will each need a "story" to tell friends, family, and children
about why you are getting divorced.
Each spouse can tell a wildly different story of the same marriage.
However, if you can cooperate on a "story" you can both tell, that will be a good sign
that you will be able to cooperate afterward. This is especially important if
you have children.
If you can manage to craft a story whose theme is "we're both good
people, just different," you are more likely to have happier lives
going forward.
