In-laws, Money, and Sex

Three of the world's most common complaints in marriage are:

• My in-laws are driving me insane and my spouse doesn't help.
• My spouse doesn't want enough (or wants too much) sex.
• My spouse doesn't make enough (or wants too much) money.

These seem like causes of your problems. But more often, they are actually symptoms of underlying problems in communication, understanding of your spouse, understanding of yourself, and your way of interacting.

Couples in every marriage confront the issues of sex, money, and in-laws. The important question is: how do the couples deal with them? And this gets back to the underlying issues of communication, understanding, self-understanding, and interaction.

Couples tend to find that if they can manage to address these underlying issues, then they can work out the specific sex, money, in-law and other situations as well.

For this reason, this program focuses primarily on the underlying issues.
