What It Costs
The cost of therapists varies from therapist to therapist and from city to city.
But plan on spending between $75 and $250 an hour. The low end is
for smaller towns and lower-cost-of-living cities, and vice versa.
It is expensive. But to the extent you are concerned about cost, remember that a
successful therapy will probably cost a lot less than a divorce. And even
an unsuccessful therapy can reduce the cost of a divorce, if it enables the
two of you to approach the process more amicably.
