Michigan Law - Until What Age Does Child Support Typically Run? The judge may order support for each child until that child graduates high school, but generally not beyond the age 19 years and six months. It is assumed in this case that the child is living with the custodial parent, or at an institution. As always, the parties may agree to some other term for child support. Section 25.96 Sec 16(a)(1).
