Cases: Gill (1996) 677 A.2d 1214, 450 Pa.Super. 611 (In this case, the wife was awarded $32,000 a year alimony until age 65 as well as 38% of the marital estate. Of the $4,154,000 of marital property, the wife was awarded $1,579,000, including a 50% interest in the husband's pension. At the time of the divorce, the wife was earning $6,000 a year working part-time. During the marriage, the wife took care of the parties' three children, and performed the duties of homemaker. The parties had been married for 32 years, and all three children were adults at the time of the divorce.)
