Texas Law - When Might Alimony Be Modified?
In states that provide for long-term alimony (that is, in most
states), there are laws or cases that describe situations in which
alimony awards may be either increased or decreased.
However, alimony is so disfavored in Texas, that there is little, if
any, discussion of modifications of alimony in the laws or cases.
