Texas Law - Must The Payer Keep The Children On His/Her Health Insurance? The court will order health insurance for the child, typically to be provided by the payer of the child support. This is in addition to child support. It may be enforced like child support. Sections 154.008, 154.061, 154.064, 154.181, 154.182, 154.183.
