This Calculator Can Do For You.

and we will calculate the single cash payment (sometimes called an "alimony
buyout") that would have the same value as the series of alimony payments. This helps you know how much cash to ask for (or propose) in lieu of monthly
alimony payments.
How it Works:

Calculation."

We send you, via e-mail, the results of this calculator run, that is,
the alimony buyout amount that makes sense in this case.

You use this information to make your decisions and make your case.
We will calculate the following:
- The equivalent single payment ("alimony buyout") to be made if
that payment is categorized as a non-taxable payment (e.g., a property settlement, child support).
- The equivalent single payment if the payment is categorized as taxable (or tax deductible) (i.e., alimony).
