Download Instructions for the Family Law Software Planner When you download and install this program, you will get:

1. Download the program. 2. The "File Download" box appears on your screen. Click the "OK" button. If you are running Internet Explorer you may have a choice to "Run Now" or "Save to disk". If you select "Run Now" you can skip the rest of these instructions. 3. A "Save As" box appears with the following information:
4. You may keep the default directory and file names or you may choose different ones. The important thing is to make a note of your choice here. Then, click the "OK" button.
5. A "File Download" box appears on your screen again. The download will take 20 minutes or so. You can do other work on your computer in the meantime. 6. A "Download Complete" box appears. Click the "OK" button. 7. You may disconnect from the Web and close your browser. Run the install file: 1. Make sure you have 8 megabytes of free space on your computer. To find out how much space you have, start the Windows Explorer (not the Internet Explorer). The "Disk Free Space" appears at the bottom of the window. This should be more than "8MB." 2. Find the installation icon (see next sentence) and double-click it. Heres how to find the installation icon. If you see an icon named split01.exe (or whatever you named the file in the download) on your desktop, double-click that icon. Otherwise, you can find the installation icon by the following steps:
3. Follow the instructions of the Family Law Software Planner Installation. 4. When you are finished with the installation, you may delete the installation file (split01.exe or whatever you named it) by dragging it into the Recycle Bin. Start the Family Law Software Planner program: To start the software program, select the "Family Law Software" icon on your desktop or select the "Start" menu at the bottom of your screen, then "Programs", then "Family Law Software" then "Family Law Software Planner". |
