- Landscape mode. For longer forms, the pagination was not right in landscape mode for the Cloud. We were doing page breaks too soon. The pagination is now better for longer landscape forms.
- Color of overridden field. When you override a field, the field turns red, and the background should also be a light red. Recently, the background remained yellow. We have fixed that, and the background is once again light red.
- Background colors. On the menus and expense screens, we had pale color backgrounds. We have made the backgrounds of all screens white, in keeping with modern user interface design.
- PDF. Now, when you save a PDF in the Cloud, you can select a folder where the PDF is to be stored and specify a file name.
State specific
Florida
- On the Florida Affidavit, the first employer’s phone number was appearing for all employers on the printed form. The first employer’s phone number now appears only for the first employer.
Illinois
- Revised Affidavit. The Illinois courts have released a revised Affidavit. That is now in the software. (If you are using the desktop, you can update to get the new Affidavit.) The changes include the following:
- More information about support paid for children of other relationships.
- Changes to the information requested for health insurance plans.
- Inclusion of health insurance expenses in total living expenses.
- Ability to enter multiple health insurance plans.
- Different sequence for the asset sections.
- Revised signature block including phone, email, and attorney number.
New Jersey
- Affidavit. The New Jersey courts have released a revised Case Information Statement, effective September 1. The new CIS is now in the software. Key changes include:
- New asset categories, including cryptocurrency and children’s assets.
- New debt categories, including tax liabilities.
- Expenses that are seasonal or occasional are moved from Schedule A or B to a new Schedule D. These expenses include snow removal, lawn care, maintenance, and vehicle registration.
- A new Schedule C line for streaming service expenses.
- Child Support Table. The state has released a new child support table, also effective September 1. In the software, you will have a choice between using the new table and the old table. The new table increased the child support amount at each level of income.
- New Jersey Client Certification of Notification of Complementary Dispute Resolution (CDR) Alternatives. This form has been updated, and the update is included in the current release.
Ohio
- Tax table. We have updated the state tax table in Ohio to reflect the recent changes in state tax rates.
