Scrolling. We have improved the opening and closing of groups in the Cloud, to reduce unnecessary scrolling.
State specific
California
- Judicial council forms. Updated FL-190 and FL-720.
- California support report. We now do not include deductible IRA/401k in the line for “adjustments to income.” They are included on the IRA/401(k) line.
- 2-way bonus grid. We add a note to our report if the interval between bonus tiers was adjusted. (We automatically adjust the amount between bonus tiers to guarantee that the grid prints on one page, and also that the report does not take too long to generate.)
- FL-142. If you select Court Format and have footnotes, you now see the values on the Total Assets line.
- FL-150. Improved printing so that it does not create almost-blank pages.
Florida
- Client Data Entry. Real estate expenses are available to enter with Expenses. We hope this will make it easier for clients to enter these expenses, since they don’t have to go to the Asset section.
- Child support. If child support is overridden at the top level, we now calculate step-downs to have the same ratio to the calculated step-downs as the overridden value has to the calculated value. For example, if the calculated child support is $1,000 per month, and this is overridden with $1,500 per month, then we will calculate the step-down tiers to be 150% (1500/1000) of the calculated step-down tiers.
- Financial affidavit. It there is separate property in Real Estate in the mortgage balance with “TBD” or other similar entry, the “TBD” now appears in the correct column on the Financial Affidavit.
Illinois
- Financial Affidavit. The total insurance death benefit shown on the Financial Affidavit now includes benefits from all insurance policies.
- Maintenance Worksheet. The Maintenance Worksheet now includes dollar signs only on lines that require them. We have added “%” signs on two lines that needed them.
- Data entry. We have clarified that choosing “2027” as the start year does not currently change the child support guideline table in use, because we will not receive the 2027 table until March of 2027.
New Jersey
- Data entry. When you click New Jersey “more info” for life insurance and IRA-401k payroll deductions, we now show the correct party’s name at the top. (The calculations were correct and are not affected.)
New York
- Net Worth Statement. We have improved the formatting of the introductory text on the Net Worth Statement.
Rhode Island
- Support guideline. We added help for line 2b and updated the calculation. It now calculates the health insurance deduction correctly when there are children from other relationships.
