Question: When I click on a downloaded file, or when I click on a file in Windows Explorer, the file is not opening.

Answer: This is a temporary glitch which we hope to fix with an update in the coming week.

Meanwhile, first open the software and then click Files tab > Open, and open the file from there.

You may first have to find where the file is located.

If it is a file downloaded using a browser (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Edge), do the following:

1. In the browser, press Ctrl+J, to open the Downloads window.

As an alternative to Ctrl+J, you can click the Settings button in the upper right-hand corner and then select Downloads. The Settings button.looks like this in Chrome...

...and like this in Internet Explorer...

3. From the Downloads list, locate the file you want to open. This will show you where on your computer the file is located.

4. Return to Family law software, click Files >Open, navigate to that location, and open the file from there.
