There are a number of Configuration options you can set on the Configuration screen.

In this section you can specify:

This information is saved across all files.

Report Options

You can set report options relating to the following:

Whether to print affidavits and guidelines in PDF-A format.

Whether to include date and time on the header.

What to include in the footer.

Whether to print footnotes, and what font to use.

For financial reports, whether to include each of the following:

Graphs

Whether to print graphs, and, if so, what to show along the bottom axis: calendar year or age of the first party entered.

Special texts

The software includes a set of special texts such as “Unknown,” “TBD,” etc.

You can reassign those texts to other texts if you wish.

Court Information

You can enter address information about the court that will then carry to all of your cases.

Professional Disclaimers

You can enter a short professional disclaimer that will appear at the bottom of each page and a longer professional disclaimer that will appear when you print financial plans.

System Options

You can enter the following system options:

Change Default Folder

You can change the folder where files are saved.

System Administrator Options

There are system administrator options for larger firms.

Master key code list

This enables a firm to update all of the KeyCodes in the firm at once and store all of the key codes in a centrally located file.

Central Server Configuration

By default, the software stores system files configuration files, temporary files, and backup data files on the local hard drive.

If members of the firm move from computer to computer, this is not practical.

This option you to specify a central location where all of those files can be stored.

This does not affect where client data files are stored.
