Family Law Software
@mrjackson

There are expenses that you know will end at a time in the future. These include childcare, and also expenses that will end when a child leaves the home or becomes emancipated.

Go to the line where you enter the expense, and click more info (the green 3-dots button in the Cloud software).

On the screen that appears, enter an end year for the expense.

For a final partial year, you may override the expense in the final year, at the bottom of the page.

With regard to expenses for a home that is being sold, the software will automatically end the expenses that are entered with the real estate property.

However, if there are expenses for the home that are entered in the general expense list, and not in the expense list associated with the real estate, then you will have to manually set termination dates for those expenses.

To do that, as indicated above, find the expense, go to the more info screen (green 3-dots button) and enter an end date.

You would do this for each such expense.
