The Firm Editions of the software add the following functionality:
- Multiple logins. You can add all additional staff, each with their own logins, at no additional cost. That means that attorneys and staff can both use the software at the same time — but you only pay for the attorneys. Staff are free with the Firm edition.
- Firm-wide access. Professionals and staff to view and edit each other’s files. A paralegal can easily view and edit the files of any attorney in the firm, just by selecting that attorney’s name.
- Vacation handling. You will be able to open the files of attorneys who are on vacation. No more hunting around for a file of an attorney who is on vacation. Just select the attorney from your firm, and there it is.
- Departures. The Firm Edition enables you to open the files of professionals who have left the firm. If a professional leaves the firm, their files stay behind, and you can immediately open and access them.
- Manage new and departing users. With the Account Manager, you will be able to add and remove professionals and staff, as people transition in and out of the firm. People you add will have access immediately. People you remove will lose access just as quickly.
Adding the Firm edition costs just $10 more per month per attorney (or financial advisor).
If the software is being used only by one person, then stay with the Basic or Cloud Individual edition.
But if there are more people in the firm who would like to access the software, you will be very happy if upgrade to the Firm edition.
